4ft long Python rescued from 5th Floor at Powai

Amma Care Foundation (ACF) and Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai (PAWS-Mumbai) volunteer Bhushan Salve and Dheeraj Phodkar on Wednesday 21st September rescued a 4 feet long, Indian Rock Python from 5th floor window on Mhada Colony, Powai.

The distress call received to rescue on ACF PAWS-Mumbai Helpline 98334 80388 from alert resident Dr. Vijay Baghel. From Jalatarang society near Powai police station.

“The snake was taken to Dr. Rahul Meshram for health check-up and after informing forest department, the snake relocated into its natural habitat” said Sunish Subramanian Kunju (Honorary Wildlife Warden and Founder of ACF PAWS-Mumbai) to avartan powai.
