5th ‘National Master Games’, Gold to Rajendra Jadhav

Powaiites Rajendra Jadhav won gold in the 10m Air Rifle (Peep Sight) category in the recently held 5th National Master Games at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The matches were set at Kashi Vishwa Hindu Vidyalaya, IIT ground. Jadhav represented Maharashtra in this tournament organized by Uttar Pradesh Masters Games Association from 11th to 14th February 2023.

More than 4000 contestants from various states participated in the competition. In the 10m air rifle (Peep Sight) event, Jadhav won the gold medal with accurate aim.

In the 4th National Masters Games held at Kerala (Trivandrum) last year, Jadhav represented Maharashtra in the sport of 10m Air Rifle Shooting (Peep Sight) and bagged the gold medal at the national level and stood first in India. Now this year, continuing this practice, he has won the Gold medal again by shooting targets accurately in the 5th National Masters Games.

Jadhav has always participated in various team and individual sports. As he is more interested in the sport of rifle shooting, he has been training and practicing it for the past year. His success shows that anything can be done with determination, perseverance, and hard work, there is no age limit.
