Gopal Sharma Memorial School (GSMS), under the able guidance of school principal Mrs. Sudha Sharan, celebrated its 25th year of academic excellence along with various schools in Mumbai with a spectacular two-day celebration. The celebration witnessed a grand confluence of the best institutions in Powai and Mumbai. More than 175 students from around 20 schools participated in the competitions organised here.
Heads of various institutions in Mumbai joined the Silver Jubilee celebrations. Mr. Prashant Sharma, the Managing Trustee of the school, reminisced about his father’s dream of establishing the school in Powai and expressed satisfaction with the progress of the educational standard over the last 25 years.
Khajane Ki Khoj (Treasure Hunt)
From the captivating drama of “Lights, Camera, Action” to the electrifying kicks in “Aim Kick Goal,” the school buzzed with energy. “Khajane Ki Khoj” took contestants from various schools on a thrilling and exciting treasure hunt, while “Masterpiece” showcased vibrant expressions of creativity.
Drama
“Culinary Venture” and “Fresh Fest” showcase culinary artistry. “Mindfest” tested the intellect. Music reverberated from “Sur Sangam”. Meanwhile, “Say It with Flowers” allowed participants to create enchanting bouquets.
During the two-day festival, games and entertainment left an impression on everyone’s minds and spread joy on their faces.
