Abhyuday is one of the largest student-run social bodies in the country. With an aim of contributing to society and creating a positive impact, Abhyuday conducts numerous campaigns, events, and competitions.
Powai Lake Cleanup, one of Abhyuday’s biggest campaigns, is being conducted in collaboration with UNICEF India. The event will be graced by Member of Parliament Manoj Kotak as the Chief Guest.
The campaign aims at cleaning the Powai Lake banks to promote a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment. It also aims at spreading awareness among people and stopping the littering of Powai Lake.
Considering previous year’s statistics, the campaign will have 400+ volunteers collecting over 2.5 Tonnes of waste. The waste collected will be recycled properly.
The campaign will be conducted from 7:30 am to 9:30 am on 4th June at Powai Lake. The campaign is open to all people. You can register as a volunteer and be part of the campaign.
