In a vibrant display of unity and commitment to service, Powai based NGO Helping Hands for Humanity has joined forces with the Indian Minorities Foundation for the transformative Sewa Pakhwada initiative, inspired by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a more robust and united nation.
Under the distinguished leadership of Satnam Singh Sandhu, a respected Member of the Rajya Sabha and Chancellor of Chandigarh University, the Indian Minorities Foundation has spearheaded several impactful projects that emphasize service and community spirit.
Highlights of the Sewa Pakhwada Initiative:
- Life-Saving Blood Donation Camp: Held at Sethia Hall, this benevolent event was dedicated to gathering essential blood donations for those in dire need, underscoring the spirit of giving.
- Walk of Heritage and Valor: This unique fashion show, curated by the illustrious designer Manish Malhotra, featured iconic celebrities such as Sonali Bendre, Kartik Aryan, and Tripti Dhimri. The event celebrated India’s rich handloom heritage and honored the bravery of its weavers.
- Juhu Beach Cleanliness Drive: Conducted on October 2nd, this drive emphasized environmental stewardship and coincided with the birthdays of the legendary Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, whose legacies of selfless service continue to inspire.
