On March 27th, the “Helping Hands for Humanity” (HHH) NGO went to the disaster-stricken area of Appa Pada, Malad to distribute ration packets to those affected by the recent outbreak of fire.
The fire devoured more than 800 huts, making the families lose whatever they owned within a few minutes. Hundreds of families were left devastated with nothing left.
The HHH Group organised a collection drive to provide relief work to those who were grief-stricken. Generous and like-minded people such as Mandeep Singh Makkar, Ruchi Gera, Prabhakar Shetty, Shiv Shankar Lature, Vijay Gupta, Dr. Leena Pimpley, Gunvantrai Hirani, M P Singh, and SK Khanna, who always extend their helping hands and come forward to provide aid in times of despair, made generous contributions. These contributions were used to collect and distribute groceries for at least fifteen days to those affected by the fire.
The “Lions Club” and the “Sunil Patodia Welfare Foundation” also extended their support in the relief work. Treasurer Mr. Suresh Agarwal personally visited the area to take stock of the situation and identify their needs. Spearheaded by the President of the organisation Anita Singh appealed to everyone to join hands and serve Humanity.
Helping Hands for Humanity is committed to serving the welfare and upliftment of society. Time and again, the organization has stood by its ideology of spreading love and serving humanity.
